The Booze - “There Goes My Girl”

Attention Mod Rockers! The Booze is back! That’s right, this Atlanta, GA quintet released Rebirth Of The Cool on February 20th. If you haven’t heard of them yet, you will soon. They scored a spot opening up for OK Go from April 13th through May 3rd.

As mentioned in a previous Tuneage post, The Booze is definitely influenced by early Beatles, Who, Stones, etc. This track is so simple and catchy and gets me thinking about warmer weather. I really love how it can transport me back to a time of mono recordings and classic pop tunes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and get a chance to see ‘em live. They put on a really fun show and dress to impress.
