One of the cooler ads by far.
We posted about this band back in March, and got a good response, so we thought you guys might be interested in this:
The Canon Logic - “Dark Maid”
Hey NYC! My buddies in The Canon Logic will be headlining the Bowery Ballroom tomorrow night (6/19)! Tickets are going quick, but there are still some available. If you like anthemic piano driven indie rock, you’ll dig these dudes. Their album, FM Arcade came out earlier this year.
This Saturday, June 19th at Bowery Ballroom. Doors at 8pm. 18+
$13 in advance - tickets at ticketmaster or www.thecanonlogic.com/bowery

Client: “How come all the photos I took have the heads cut off?”
Me: “Hmm, Did you look though the view finder when you took them?”
Client: “I don’t know what that is. Can’t you just move the picture up so I can see their heads? I mean they’re digital pictures?”

Can’t wait!
The Young Veins is a five-piece band that includes two members who used to be in Panic! At The Disco. Taking cues from The Beatles, The Monkees and The Beach Boys, they’re creating 60s inspired pop rock (which I’m a sucker for), which by no means makes them original, but this music is perfect for fun summer days spent on the beach.
This song is the first track on their debut album, Take A Vacation! which comes out June 8th. Consisting of 11 tracks, the longest songs clocks in at 3 minutes. The Young Veins will spend this summer on the road with Rooney.
Note: You can download the track “Take A Vacation” for free via Filter Magazine, or follow the band on Tumblr here.
